I complained about still being able to feel what she was doing to my gums, to which she replied, "Well, I've given you two shots already". And I told her well obviously, I need a third! I’ve had a lot of issues with dental anxiety in the past, which have been exacerbated by inconsiderate dentists. My experience from start to finish with Twin Dental was absolutely phenomenal. I contacted them via email to share my concerns and was met with empathy and compassion from the beginning, which made scheduling an appointment much less daunting. Their hours give me a lot more flexibility with my work schedule and the wait for my preferred appointment time was only a couple of days. I went in for a dental physical exam and was told over the phone an estimate for my first appointment; that transparency is so important for me as I’m self-pay. After my X-rays, my hygienist discovered a tooth that would need extraction, and they were able to do my extraction at the same appointment. I have a history of attending an exam and then cancelling my follow-up due to anxiety, so their ability to do the procedure same-day was incredibly helpful. Everyone on staff was so friendly and respectful, and went out of their way to ensure I was comfortable. They even noted in my paperwork where I shared I had a lot of anxiety about dental work and asked if there were any other ways they could help make me comfortable.
