Ellen was a patient of Dr. Mike’s for many years. When she moved away from Cincinnati she was traveling 134 miles round trip for her appointments. This is what Ellen says about her experience.

For many years I avoided the dentist as much as possible. I lived in fear of dentists since I was a child. I found your office through a computer search and once I made it through your doors I knew I had finally found a dentist that was so concerned about my dental health you would do everything possible to keep me coming back for appointments until you could heal me. I knew my mouth was a mess. You didn’t scream at me, you didn’t lecture me (well maybe instructed a little). Believe me, I had other dentists that would get mad at me, speak rudely and angrily. I would never return to those dentists, not after being treated in such an abrasive manner. They didn’t realize that attitude would never get me back for the next appointment.

Then I found Twin Dental. You and your staff took me in…shaking and quaking. You understood my fear and went to great pains (lol) to assure me that I would be safe in your office. You assured me that I could use the nitrous oxide for every visit, if necessary, without being labeled a coward. You never tried to withhold the nitrous from me as some dentists do. Every step towards my improved dental health was explained to me by you and your staff. Your staff was very courteous and also understood my fear.

I delayed finding a local dentist and kept making the trek to Cincinnati for my dental appointments. Finally, I decided I needed to find a local dentist and I did. Today I just came back from my 6 month check-up where the doctor told me I don’t have any treatment to come back for before my next 6 month check-up. Never in my 65 years would I have ever thought I would hear those words. So I just wanted to give you a big THANK YOU. I know that this excellent diagnosis is the result of your many years of caring for my dental health…and mental health because you removed my crippling fear of dentists.
