Almost everyone has wished at one point or another for whiter teeth. It has been said optimal results will allow you to appear ten years younger. Twin Dental offers a few whitening programs to fit our patients’ lifestyles and budget considerations. The staff will gladly review the specifics of each option with you.
Before beginning the use of whitening products, patients should complete a cleaning at our Cincinnati office and request an evaluation. Some patients are not ideal candidates due to the origin of the discoloration or because of the presence of crowns or other cosmetic dental work. Natural teeth will lighten, but crowns, veneers, and bonding will not. In addition, healthy gums are a must.
As a signature program of Twin Dental, we are proud to offer “whitening for life.” We want our patients to have a smile they can be proud of forever. Whitening for Life is a loyalty program offered for a one-time fee of $209. Once every six months, as you visit for your bi-annual appointment, we will supply you with a complimentary whitening touch-up kit. This ensures that you will be able to keep your teeth bright and beautiful for life!
Our program consists of two paths. Take-home whitening trays is one path, while take-home whitening strips are the other. If trays are chosen, impressions will be taken of your teeth to create custom whitening trays that will hold the whitening gel snugly against your teeth. We will provide you with professional bleaching gel. At your next visit, you will receive your custom whitening trays and be advised on how to put the gel in the trays and for what length. The selection of whitening strips allows treatment to start the same day. Detailed instructions will be given on how to properly apply the whitening strips.
The treatment lifespan is determined by the discoloration of your teeth and the desired whiteness. Patients typically see results after only a couple of applications, though they should keep in mind that drinking coffee, tea, red wine, and smoking cigarettes will gradually diminish the effect of any whitening process.
